In an Ontario Provincial Offences court case,
R. v. Chung in 2010, the Justice of the Peace wrote, "Due diligence was not established [by Mr. Chung] ... because it was insufficient evidence that a training program and monitoring system was in place".

Store owners can access and monitor quiz completion activity from X Inspector's database website by logging in with their unique store ID number at any time to see which staff are completing the quiz, when and how often.
The data can be downloaded at any time in PDF or CSV formats.

Receive invaluable law-related assistance from a former SFOA inspector if you or staff receive a ticket(s) from an SFOA inspector.

Regular training for all staff is the key to a compliant successful store
The Key
X Inspector spent quality time as an SFOA inspector with tobacco & vapour product retailer staff & owners to educate them on their requirements under the SFOA to help them avoid selling tobacco & vapour products to customers <19 and comply with display & promotion laws. This was done by providing an on-line quiz that most staff & owners conveniently completed on their smart phones on a regular basis.
The Road Block
If staff or owners contravened the SFOA and received tickets, SFOA inspectors couldn't give advice on how to deal with the fines and navigate the Ontario Provincial Offences court system which left staff and owners feeling helpless.
